I have been in the field of education for most of my adult life, teaching in Calif., Germany, Texas, Colorado, Kentucky and Minnesota. I took time off to raise my daughter - Jenny, now 33 yrs. old; I took time off to write two restaurant guidebook-cookbooks, and finally, I took time off to be the Executive Director of "The Dwelling in the Woods", a hermitage retreat center an hour south of Duluth. I returned to Duluth, MN in 2008 to be closer to my daughter and grandchildren - Ebbin is now 4 1/2 yrs. and Nala is 2 yrs. I have lived in Duluth for most of the past 27 yrs. I was married for 26 yrs and have been divorced for 15 yrs. I now teach at the College of St. Scholastica in the Masters of Ed. Dept. and work as a Parent Educator in early childhood. My family is my greatest joy and I feel truly blessed.
