| After high school... Attended UCLA, got married to Peter Craig in 1965, had two children -- went back to college part time and graduated from CSUN with a BA in Political Science in 1974. Graduated from UCLA Law School in 1980... Went through divorce, worked in a large law firm, met my husband Nigel -- re-married. Worked for Gray Davis when he was in the State Assembly as his LA constituent caseworker, and then continued to work for him part time after he was elected State Controller. Quit to go back to school -- again! --- to UCLA's School of Social Welfare and got my MSW in 1992. Worked as a Long Term Care Ombudsman, and also counseled battered women and did some work as a therapist in private practice. Went back for a year to work for Gov. Gray Davis as his Los Angeles liaison to the senior community. Started doing volunteer work for a humane society in 2004, and in 2005 co-founded k9 connection with my friend Katherine Beattie. |
